| Job Description |
A small centrally located housing association is looking to recruit an exceptional Accountant to share the role with another
Reporting to the Finance Director (FD) you will be responsible for all aspects of the organisation’s financial reporting including monthly management accounting and the preparation of statutory accounts
You will have experience of the day to day management of a small team and provide appropriate financial information to enable the FD to address the strategic requirements of his role
You will manage a team of three accountants to ensure that a comprehensive financial reporting service is provided and will apply a proactive and systematic approach to work
You may be a part qualified CCAB accountant with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Your technical skills will enable you to think on your feet and although you may not have experience of working within the housing sector or with charities your ability to transfer your skills from other sectors will stand you in good stead
The role is within a small organisation as part of a team which works very closely together
